The Lancaster Bible College Softball team traveled to Wilson College on Saturday afternoon for a non-conference competition with the Phoenix falling 7-5. The Chargers move to 8-5 overall while the Phoenix improve to 8-6 overall.

How It Happened: The Chargers posted two runs early as a single from Phoebe Clemens scored Maggie Kwiatkowski and KariAnn Mecke grounded out to score Alyssa Taylor. The Phoenix managed to rattle off six runs through the first three innings to take a comfortable 6-2.

Back to back homeruns from Keira Price and Riley Danko closed the gap to 6-4 but the Phoenix responded with one of their own to increase their lead to 7-4. In the top of the 5^th, Price doubled to centerfield bringing in Clemens but the Chargers weren't able to retake the lead as the Phoenix won 7-5.

• The Chargers had seven hits for five runs and five runs batted in.
• The Phoenix had 11 hits for seven runs and seven runs batted in.
• Keira Price went 2-2 with two RBIs, one run, and one homerun.
