The Lancaster Bible College Men's Volleyball team returned to the Horst Athletic Center for a home conference match with Bryn Athyn, winning in three sets. The Chargers improve to 19-7 overall and stay perfect at 6-0 in United East play, while the Lions fall to 9-18 overall and 2-5 in conference play.
How it Happened:
The Chargers used several four-point runs early in the first set to lead 11-4, led by three straight service aces by senior
Dawson Forney. The Chargers scored nine of the next 10 points behind several kills by sophomore
Jordan Yoder and kills and an ace by sophomore
Jaiden Flanagan, leading 20-6. Lancaster Bible closed with five of the final six points as Yoder end the set with a service ace 25-8.
It was Lancaster Bible from the start in set two as kills and a block by sophomore
Kevin Bryant helped the Chargers to a 7-2 lead. The lead extended to nine points at 18-9 after a five-point run with two kills from Forney. Yoder added a kill and an ace as part of a final five-point spurt to put the set away 25-14 and put the Chargers up 2-0 in the match.
The teams traded the first nine points in set three before the Chargers scored four in a row with an ace by sophomore
Zeke Clark and a kill by Yoder to take an 8-5 lead. The Lions kept it close until another four-point burst from LBC put the Chargers up six. The Chargers closed on a 5-1 run with two aces by Flanagan and back-to-back kills by junior
Zach Herb to close out the set 25-14 and win the match in straight sets.

This was the third meeting all-time between the Chargers and Lions, with LBC sweeping all three matches. The Chargers extend their regular season conference win streak to 18 matches, marking their third consecutive 6-0 conference start with two matches to go this season.
