The Lancaster Bible College Men's and Women' Track & Field teams traveled to Grantham, Pa. from Thursday, April 10 until Saturday, April 12 as athletes competed in the Messiah Multi/Invitational. The Chargers saw a multitude of personal records set by their younger class of athletes and eight total Top-10 finishes, with two more school records falling as well.
Men's Track & Field
- Emery McCombs set a school record in Discus with a throw of 34.75 meters, finishing 27th overall in the event.
- McCombs also competed in the Shot Put with a best throw of 11.83 meters and the Hammer with a throw of 33.17 meters.
- Freshman Kyle Durkin placed 4th overall out of 40+ athletes in the Javelin with a mark of 52.44 meters.
- Junior David Helms finished in 5th place out of 21 in the 5,000-Meters with a time of 15:53.66.
- Junior Micah Richardson finished in 6th place in the Decathlon with 4,539 total points, setting a personal mark in the Javelin at 39.80 meters
- Sophomore Benjamin Cornish rounded out 9th place with 3,525 points, tying his personal mark in the Shot Put (8.32m) and setting a new personal record in Javelin (28.22m).

Women's Track & Field
- Freshman Seana Dougherty finished 5th overall in the 10,000-Meters, setting a new school record with a time of 39:21.85.
- Sophomore Martha Weaver had a pair of top-10 finishes, earning 5th place in the Shot Put with a throw of 10.78 meters and 9th place in the Hammer with a throw of 39.14 meters.
- Freshman Cadee Cameron earned 7th place in the 5,000-Meters with a personal-best time of 20:18.76.
- A pair of Chargers took on the Heptathlon in sophomore Faith Garber and freshman Emma Cassel.
- Garber earned 2,104 total points and set personal bests in the High Jump (1.20m) and Shot Put (5.76m).
- Cassel earned 1,991 total points, setting a personal mark in the Shot Put at 6.70 meters.
