The United East Conference announced their Athletes of the Week for April 6 with the Lancaster Bible College Chargers receiving three nods for the week. Outdoor Track & Field received two honors with Seana Dougherty earning her first weekly honors for the outdoor season while fellow freshman Kyle Durkin also was honored for his performance. Jake Rotelle rounded out the three with a strong outing on the golf course this past weekend.

Dougherty had yet another outstanding performance this past weekend at the Messiah Invitational setting a new school record in the 10k with a time of 39:21.85 which was good enough to place fifth in the event. She is now listed 10^th in the region for the 10k while ranking first in the conference for both the 5k and 10k.

Moving to the field portion, Durkin has held his own in his first season with the Chargers placing fourth in javelin at the Messiah Invitational. His throw of 52.44-meters is first in the United East and eighth in the region. He is also listed 55^th nationally in the event.

Rotelle found himself with another big outing this past weekend at the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Shootout this past Monday with a field best 74 (+3). He helped lead the Chargers to a fourth place finish out of ten total teams. His 74 on the scoring card is the third round he's shot in the 70's and placed top five.
