The Lancaster Bible College Men's and Women's Track & Field program competed at NCAA Division II Millersville University's 42
nd Millersville Metrics meet on Friday and Saturday. The Chargers saw six total top ten finishes including a program best fourth place in the 10k for
David Helms. Helms finished with a time of 33:07.21 and is ranked first in the United East.
Kyle Durkin also tallied a fourth place finish for the Chargers in the javelin throw. Durkin had a mark of 55.19-meters, setting a new school record and ranking him 46
th in the nation for division III.
Martha Weaver had herself a day grabbing two top ten finishes in the hammer throw and shot put. Weaver placed sixth in the hammer throw with a distance of 40.44-meters which places her first in the conference. She also placed eighth in the shot put with a mark of 11.64-meters ranking her first in the conference, sixth in the Mid-Atlantic region, and setting a new school record.
