The United East Conference released their Major Award Winners and All-Conference teams on Tuesday with the Chargers earning three names on the post-season list. Junior
Susannah Clawser was named to the All-Conference First Team as an at-large bid and junior
Natalie Hoover was named to the All-Conference Second Team as an at-large bid. Clawser and doubles teammate
Jania Weist also earned a spot on the All-Conference Second Team.
Clawser was named to the All-Conference First Team for her first time in her career. She had an outstanding 2024-25 campaign finishing 13-2 overall and a perfect 7-0 in conference play. She capped off the season on a 10-game win streak. This is Clawser's second post-season honor of her career being named All-Conference Second Team in 2024.
Hoover also saw a productive year finished 10-7 overall and 7-1 in conference play to help her land All-Conference Second Team. Hoover has now tallied over 25 singles wins over her three year career with the Chargers. This is Hoover's third straight postseason honor.
The combinationation of
Jania Weist and
Susannah Clawser turned into a consistent tally in the win column as the pair racked up 11 wins and just two losses on the season. They finished 6-1 in the United East to help the Chargers to the conference semfinals. This is Weist's third straight postseason honors and first doubles nod of her career.
The St. Mary's (Md) Seahawks swept the Major Awards after posting a perfect 8-0 conference season. Cleo Solomon won Player of the Year, Sarah Levit was Rookie of the Year, and Sona Brymer earned Coach of the Year.
