How it Happened:
The Lions struck quickly as they found the back of the goal four minutes in, taking an early advantage. They controlled possession for most of the first quarter, but the Chargers held Penn St. Harrisburg to just one in the period.
Â
Lancaster Bible had two penalty corners in the early portion of the second quarter with

Ayla Zwally (So.) put shots on goal that were saved by the Lions' keeper, then after two saves by
Amelia Huey (Gr.) on the other end, the Lions got two quick scores within a minute of each other to enter halftime with a 3-0 lead on the road.
Â
Neither team made a big push in the third quarter until the 42nd minute when the Lions' Sadie Cook had a breakaway across the field to get a goal for a 4-0 advantage for Harrisburg.
Lily Wood (Fr.) had a shot late in the quarter that missed wide as the deficit remained at four with 15 minutes to play.
Â
The Chargers had one corner with one shot by Hoffman in the fourth quarter while the Lions had one corner with two shots, one being saved by
