The United East Conference released their weekly award winners for last week on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, with the Chargers owning the release with a total of seven athletes earning recognition. For Men's Basketball, junior

Hurst had arguably his best and most important two-game stretch of the season for the Chargers as he averaged 27.5 points and shot 52.6% from the field, powering the Chargers to a 2-0 week with wins over Notre Dame (Md.) and Penn St. Harrisburg. Tuesday's showdown with the Gators featured 25 points from Hurst on 9-19 from the floor with six assists and two made threes en route to a 99-93 home victory. Then, Camden scored 30 points against the Lions on Saturday on 11-19 shooting on 4-7 from deep, netting his 1,000th career point in the first half as he added three assists and a 4-4 day from the free throw line. Camden leads the United East in scoring at 21.4 points per game and averages 22.9 points against conference opponents, ranking 38th in NCAA Division III in scoring and 17
th in the nation in total points with 536.

Storr put together a solid defensive week for the Chargers, totaling 13 rebounds, three steals, and one block across two games en route to a 2-0 week for LBC. His best game came against Notre Dame (Md.) at home on Tuesday night as he finished with nine rebounds with one steal and one block in 31 minutes in a six-point victory, following it up on Saturday with four rebounds and two steals in 22 minutes in a road win over Penn St. Harrisburg. Connor added offensively with 31 total points and five total assists for the week. Storr ranks in the top-10 in the conference in total blocks with 21 and blocks per game at 0.875, adding 50 total steals and 6.0 rebounds per game to bolster his numbers.

Hunter earned her first weekly honor of the season after a great defensive effort in the Chargers' 2-0 surge to end the season and secure a First Round home game with the #7-seed. The Chargers' lone senior was honored pregame on Tuesday before posting eight rebounds, three blocks, and two steals to spearhead a 67-53 home victory over Notre Dame (Md.). Then, Raven tied her career-high with five blocks on Saturday at Penn St. Harrisburg, posting a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds with a steal in a 24-point road victory for the Chargers. Hunter leads the Chargers and is third in the United East in blocks at 34 and blocks per game at 1.55, leading the defensive charge for LBC as they look to advance in the playoffs beginning Wednesday.

Bryant earned both Offensive and Defensive honors this week as he led the Chargers on both sides of the ball. Beginning on the offensive end, Kevin knocked 25 total kills across two matches with just four errors for an attack percentage of .458, spurned by a 14-kill, 0-error performance against (RV) Randolph-Macon on Saturday on .737 hitting in a 3-0 sweep of the Yellow Jackets. This performance was the second-highest hitting clip in a single match in program history, plus he had 11 kills on Thursday night against Elizabethtown in a five-set match to cement his offensive success. On the defensive end, Bryant landed 11 total blocks with eight total digs last week, getting six blocks against the Blue Jays on Thursday followed by five blocks (one solo) against Randolph-Macon. Kevin ranks in the top-15 in NCAA Division III in blocks per set at 1.15 and leads the United East in total blocks at 54.

Helms made it six Track Athlete of the Week honors after impressing at the NCCAA Indoor Championships this weekend. David landed third-place in the 5,000-Meters with a time of 15:11.29, less than one second off his personal best and program record and earning NCCAA All-American status in the event with the bronze-medal finish. Helms became the first male Charger in program history to earn All-American honors in a Track event and joins 2022 Trey Baughman in the High Jump as the only two Lancaster Bible athletes to land All-American finishes at NCCAA Nationals. David added to his performance with an 11th-place finish in the 3,000-Meters with a time of 9:03.54. Helms continues to rank first in the United East in the Mile, 3,000-Meters, and 5,000-Meters, also ranking second in the 800-Meters.

Ames won Track Athlete of the Week for the second time as she performed well in both distance events she competed in. First, Abby had a near podium-finish as she placed fourth in the 3,000-Meters with a time of 11:14.42, setting a new personal record and season-best time for the Chargers. Ames also landed a 12th-place finish in the 5,000-Meters with a time of 20:21.58 to cap off her weekend. Abby ranks first in the United East in both the Mile and the 3,000-Meters heading into the United East Championships in less than two weeks.

Bruner earned her fifth weekly honor of the season as she placed in the top-7 in all three of her Field events at NCCAA Nationals. Elly earned a first-place finish in the High Jump with a height of 1.60 Meters, earning NCCAA All-American honors and tying her season-best. Bruner became the first-ever NCCAA Indoor National Champion in program history with the gold-medal finish, joining Leah Bergey (Pentathlon 2022+2023) as the second female Charger in program history to land NCCAA All-American status. Adding to that, Elly became an All-American in a second event as she placed third in the Triple Jump with a distance of 10.54 Meters, becoming the first Lancaster Bible athlete to earn All-American honors in multiple events at the same meet. In addition, Bruner landed a seventh-place finish in the Long Jump with a distance of 5.18 Meters, finishing just a hundredth of a meter away from fourth place in a tight competition. Elly ranks first in the United East in both Long Jump and High Jump and second in the Triple Jump.

For Hurst, Storr, and the Men's Basketball team, the Chargers clinched the #1-seed in the United East Postseason and will host the winner of #9-seed Penn St. Berks and #8-seed Wilson on Saturday, February 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the United East Quarterfinals. For Hunter and the Women's Basketball team, the Chargers have a home game tomorrow night on Wednesday, February 18 as they host #10-seed Gallaudet in the United East First Round at 6:30 p.m. For Bryant and the Men's Volleyball team, lone match of the week is a home game tonight in the Horst Athletic Center as they host Kean in non-conference action at 7:00 p.m. As for Helms, Ames, Bruner, and the rest of the Indoor Track & Field teams, they have one more tune-up meet this Friday, February 20 at the Golden Bear Invitational at Kutztown, then prep for the United East Indoor Championships on Friday, February 27 as their indoor season comes to a close.
