Lancaster Bible College men's and women's track and field took to the road to Landover, Maryland to compete in the United East Indoor Championships. The Chargers were one of five teams at the meet including St. Mary's (Md.), Penn State Harrisburg, Gallaudet, and Carlow (Pa.). The Chargers would finish in runner-up on the women's side and third place on the men's side.

Highlighting the day would be David Helms and Elly Bruner. David Helms was awarded the United East track athlete of the year award; and today was a great testament to why. Helms would finish first in the 800-meter, mile, 3000-meter, 5000-meter, and as a member of the 4000-meter distance medley.
Elly Bruner was awarded the United East field athlete of the year. Bruner's day would consist of two first place finishes in both high jump and long jump; a third place finish in triple jump and a part of the 4x400 relay team.
