The Lancaster Bible College Men's Volleyball team hosted new conference opponent Immaculata on Saturday afternoon in United East play, racing to a 3-0 victory. The Chargers improve to 12-10 overall and 5-0 in the United East while the Mighty Macs fall to 5-6 overall and 4-1 in the United East.

How it Happened:
The Mighty Macs got off to a good start as they led 5-4 early on, but a four-point run from the Chargers gave them the lead 8-5 after kills from four different LBC players. The Chargers then ran away with the set as they scored eight straight points, with kills by
Zeke Clark (Jr.) and a service ace by
Carson Hoover (Jr.) fueling the run.
Kevin Bryant (Jr.) added several kills later in the set, then a block by Bryant and
Timothy Fletcher (So.) sealed the opening-set win at 25-12.

Hoover landed two kills as part of a 5-0 LBC start to set two, with the lead ballooning all the way to 12-3 as Bryant added two more kills. The Chargers scored five in a row in the middle of the set as
Nicholas Marion (Sr.) got a block and a kill to go, then the Chargers continued to dominate late with eight of the final nine points as Hoover landed a pair of aces and
Braden Escover (Fr.) knocked the final two kills to seal set two 25-7.

After Immaculata grabbed a 2-1 lead in set three, it was all Chargers from there as
Jacob Snyder (So.) landed back-to-back aces on a five-point LBC run to take the lead. The Chargers then went on a run of seven straight points as Bryant landed an ace and Hoover punctuated the run with a kill as LBC led 13-4. A kill by
Devin Galloway (Jr.) started a run of four for the Chargers, then Snyder landed a kill to get LBC to 20 points in the set. After a dump by
Tyler Allen (Fr.) for a LBC point, the Chargers closed out the 25-12 set win on a kill by
Roman Thompson (Fr.), improving to 5-0 in conference play this season.

Information to Know:
This was the Chargers' first-ever matchup with Immaculata and LBC is now two games over .500 (12-10) for the first time this season. The Chargers are now 5-0 in United East play this season and have won their last 25 matches in conference play since rejoining in 2023 and have won their last 48 consecutive conference matches dating back to the 2017 season.
Kevin Bryant surpassed 400 career kills in today's match, becoming the 14th player in program history with over 400 kills at 402 after today.
Timothy Fletcher surpassed 800 career assists in today's match, becoming the eighth player in program history to do so.
