The Lancaster Bible College Women's Tennis team picked up their first victory of the season as they opened up United East play with a 7-0 win at Penn St. Abington. The Chargers improve to 1-5 overall and 1-0 in conference while the Lions drop to 1-6 overall and 0-1 in conference.
 
Doubles Recap
 
- The duo of Jania Weist (Sr.) and Lindsey Ochs (Fr.) in the #1 doubles match secured the 6-3 victory to open up doubles play
- The #2 doubles duo of Natalie Hoover (Sr.) and Becky Dimov (So.) earned a tight 7-5 victory
- The Chargers completed the sweep in the doubles portion of the match as Sarah Lesher (Fr.) and Katelyn Riederich (Fr.) won 6-3 in the #3 doubles slot
 
Singles Recap
 
- Jania Weist and Natalie Hoover each won their matches at the #1 and #2 slots respectively, Weist winning 6-2, 6-0 and Hoover winning 6-4, 6-4
- Lindsey Ochs earned the three-set victory in the #3 position after dropping the first set 4-6, coming back to win 6-4 and 6-3
- Three Chargers won in the #4-6 positions in straight sets, with Becky Dimov winning 6-1, 6-0, Katelyn Riederich winning 6-2, 6-2, and Sarah Lesher winning 6-0, 6-2
