The Chargers threatened again with two runners on but could not score, then McDaniel got a pair of hits in the bottom of the 4th as they plated two runs to cut the score to 3-2. The Green Terror then got even in the 5th inning with one run, then scored five runs over the next two frames to build a lead after going down three at 8-3. The Chargers loaded up the bases again in the 8th and scored one run as Kenneth Smith (Jr.) drew a walk for a RBI, but McDaniel exploded in the bottom of the 8th with six total runs, including a grand slam to end the game at a 10-run rule as they took down the Chargers 14-4.
