Lancaster Bible College Athletics

The Lancaster Bible College Women's Soccer team had their final road non-conference game of the season on Wednesday night as they traveled to face Goucher, racing to a 4-0 shutout win for their second straight victory. The Chargers improve to 2-4 overall while the Gophers fall to 1-5 overall.
 
How it Happened:
The Chargers got off to a fast start as they scored less than four minutes into the game, seeing Isabella Eufemia (Sr.) connect on her first score of the year off an assist from Jade Weir (Gr.) to put LBC up 1-0. The next shot the Chargers took was also good for a goal at the 11-minute mark, this time with Rayanna Wagaman (Fr.) scoring her first career goal off a pass from Emily Murawski (So.) to extend the Chargers' lead. The Chargers kept up the pressure throughout the first half with three more shots on goal and two corner kicks, then Saige Santa Cruz (Jr.) made three late saves in goal for LBC to help the Chargers hold the lead at halftime for the first time this season.
 
After switching goalies at the half, Hailey Siedman (Fr.) tallied a save after three early Gopher shots, then Wagaman had another shot on goal before Madison Duggan (Fr.) was able to punch in a score off an assist from Eufemia just two minutes later, Duggan's first career score as LBC led 3-0. Lancaster Bible dominated on the offensive end throughout the half, adding five more shots on goal before a sixth one finally added the Chargers' fourth goal of the night, this time from Murawski for her first of the season on a second assist from Weir as LBC took home a dominant road win in shutout fashion.

The Chargers are now 8-5-1 all-time against the Gophers and have faced off each of the past six seasons, going 4-1-1 in that span against Goucher. The Chargers took just 3:28 to score in tonight's game, their fastest goal since October 18 of last season against Valley Forge (3:02). This was the Chargers' first true road win of the season and their first road shutout over a non-conference opponent since a 2-0 win over Marywood on September 3, 2025. Tonight saw the first career goals for both Rayanna Wagaman and Madison Duggan, with Emily Murawski scoring her first in a Chargers uniform after transferring in this year. Isabella Eufemia scored her sixth career game-winning goal after opening the scoring today in the shutout win, tying her for 9th in program history in career game-winners. Jade Weir notched her first career multi-assist game tonight, assisting on both the opening and closing goals of the contest.
