2022: Tanner Shertzer was one of just two players for Lancaster Bible to start all 20 games in 2022, playing 1,352 minutes for the Chargers. He played all 90 minutes seven times during the season, helping to anchor the Chargers' defensive back line. He connected on an assist to Clark Shreiner against St. Mary's (Md.) on Homecoming weekend and took three total shots on the season. Shertzer scored his first collegiate goal in a 4-0 win over Gallaudet on October 22, playing the full 90 minutes. He was named to the United East All-Sportsmanship Team at the end of the season for his conduct and leadership on the field.
2021: Shertzer appeared in and started all 16 games in which he played. He recorded his first collegiate point on October 16 with an assist in a 2-0 victory over Wells. Shertzer played a season-high 110 minutes in three different contests throughout the season.
2020: No season due to COVID-19 pandemic.
2019: Shertzer appeared in 15 games during his first season in Lancaster, earning nine starts. He played a big role in helping the Chargers allow just 1.05 goals per game in 2019, and registered his first ever collegiate shot in a 6-2 victory over Penn St. Berks on September 28.
