2023: Elijah Herb rounded out his career for Lancaster Bible in stellar fashion, starting in 29 games and leading the team in several regards. Herb finished 15th in NCAA Division III with 3.78 kills per set, tallying 378 total kills to lead the Chargers and hitting .240 on the year. His consistency paid dividends for the Chargers as he recorded 10+ kills in 20 matches and had five games with 20+ kills. He set a career-high with 28 kills against Trinity Christian (Ill.) in the NCCAA National Invitational on January 28, the most in a match since Nate Miller in 2018. Elijah won a conference Player of the Week award and led the CSAC in kills on the season. Herb was named CSAC Player of the Year to cap off the season, adding a 1st Team All-Conference selection and a conference title in his final game in the red and white uniform. Elijah finished his career at 4th all-time with 782 kills, a great four-year career with the Chargers.
2022: Herb was an instrumental piece of the Chargers' attack during his junior season, playing and starting in 26 of LBC's 27 contests. His 302 kills were a team-high for the 2022 Chargers as he averaged 3.32 kills/set with a .203 hitting percentage. Herb also had 14 assists and 18 service aces. On defense, Herb had 112 digs (fourth-most on the team) and got in on 34 blocks, four of those being solo blocks. Elijah Herb set a career-high with 26 kills at home against Hiram College on January 9, adding on a season-high 13 digs and four blocks.
2021: Elijah Herb took a big step forward for the Chargers in 2021, starting in 11 of his 14 appearances. He was third on the team in kills with 95 and hit at a .182 clip, adding 11 assists and 11 service aces with his powerful swing. On the defensive side, Elijah tallied 58 digs and 15 blocks including one solo block. Herb recorded a season-high 15 kills on January 23 against Campbellsville, adding seven digs and three service aces.
2020: Herb saw action in four matches during his freshman season with the Chargers...He played his first collegiate match on February 8 against Wilson, and had two kills...Herb posted a season-best five kills on February 14 in a victory over St. Elizabeth.
