2023: Leah Helman played in and started nine games for Lancaster Bible in 2023. She helped anchor the defense with consistent effort and a total of 15 ground balls and three caused turnovers, and she also earned one draw control at SUNY Morrisville on April 15. Helman was one of just two Chargers this season to record a ground ball in every game played, a testament to her defensive tenacity.
2022: Helman played and started in all 17 contests for the Chargers in her first season. She made her presence felt on defense, grabbing 39 ground balls and forcing 18 turnovers, which were both 4th-highest for the Chargers. She had nine games with at least three ground balls and forced multiple turnovers in five contests. Leah had a big impact on defense against Saint Vincent on March 11, posting season-highs with six ground balls and four caused turnovers. Helman's hard work in 2022 paid off as she earned a selection to the United East All-Conference 2nd Team.
