2024: Hunter Davis played in 21 matches with 19 starts in his final season with the Chargers. He was one of six Chargers with 100+ points on the season, landing 81 kills on a .299 hitting percentage. Davis led the squad with 36 total blocks and 31 block assists, registering season-highs with five blocks and nine kills in a United East Semifinal win over Saint Elizabeth on April 9. Hunter ended his Charger career on April 19 in the First Round of the NCAA Division III National Tournament, posting four kills, two digs and one block. Davis ends his career as a two-time conference champion (CSAC/United East), a CSAC Defensive Player of the Year, and one of only 11 players in program history to reach 500 career kills, tallying 509 in total and hitting .328 in his six seasons, adding 74 service aces and 253 total blocks.
2023:Â Davis played all 31 games for Lancaster Bible and started all but one, playing 109 in total sets. He was third on the team with a new high in 194 kills, leading the team in hitting percentage (min. 100 atts.) at 37.4% on the year. Davis tied his career-high with 13 kills on January 28 against Geneva (Pa.) in the NCCAA National Invitational in the 3rd-Place match. Hunter set a new single-season program record with 103 blocks in 2023 and tied the single-game record with 11 blocks against Randolph-Macon on February 11. In addition to earning a conference Player of the Week nod, Davis was also second on the team with 37 service aces, including a season-high six aces against Wilson on April 11 in the CSAC Semifinals. After an impressive campaign, Davis was named CSAC Defensive Player of the Week and earned a selection to the All-Conference 1st Team.
2022:Â Hunter Davis took a big leap for the Chargers in 2022, starting in 26 of LBC's 27 matches. He tallied an impressive 154 kills on the season, attacking at a 28.8% clip. He also contributed 14 assists and a career-high 19 service aces, the second-most on the team. He more than doubled his 2021 total with 68 digs and had a team-high 80 blocks, nine of them being solo blocks. Those 80 blocks were among the top 25 tallies in NCAA Division III in 2022. Davis recorded a career-high 13 kills in a 3-2 road win over Alvernia on March 23, adding two digs and five block assists.
2021:Â Davis played in all 15 of Lancaster Bible's matches during the shortened 2021 season. He recorded 69 total kills at a .333 hitting percentage, which both ranked fourth for the Chargers. He also landed 11 service aces, the third-highest mark on the team. Defensively, Davis had 32 digs and was involved in 27 blocks, including four solo blocks. Hunter had a season-high six blocks against Kean on February 17 to go along with six kills, four digs and a service ace.
2020:Â Hunter Davis appeared in two matches during his sophomore season. He had a season-best three kills in a win over St. Vincent on February 22, and also had two blocks in a victory over Wilson on February 8.
2019: Davis appeared in eight matches as a freshman, and had seven kills and five blocks. Davis also added three digs and three assists in his first season in Lancaster. Davis had two kills, two assists, two digs, and a block in a 3-0 win over Cairn on February 21.
