2023: Matthew Shaeffer was a consistent relief pitcher for the Chargers in his senior season, making 16 appearances and even two starts on the mound. He finished the regular season with a 4.04 ERA over 42.1 innings pitched, the second-best ERA for Lancaster Bible and a personal best. He posted a 2-3 overall record with 23 strikeouts, with two games hitting five Ks against Rivier and Penn St. Altoona. His longest outing came against Wells College on May 6 where he went 6.0 innings and gave up just one run on two hits, picking up the win on senior day.
