Kevin Hertzog was named Head Field Hockey Coach at Lancaster Bible College in 2025. He joined the Charger program from Cocalico High School, where he led the Eagles to a 9-7-2 record, a fourth-place section finish, and coached two First-Team All-Section players.
With over 20 years of coaching experience at multiple levels, Hertzog brings extensive knowledge, strong local PIAA connections, and a proven ability to develop athletes both on and off the field. He is passionate about mentoring student-athletes, fostering their athletic growth, and guiding them in their faith journey.
In his first season at LBC, Hertzog guided the Chargers to a 3-13 overall record and 1-3 in United East Conference play. A highlight of the season came on October 25 with a thrilling 2-1 overtime victory over Cedar Crest, which secured the program’s first United East playoff appearance since 2023. Junior Riley Danko earned All-Conference First Team honors, while freshman Rebekah Hoover was named to the All-Conference Second Team.
