Pete Beers returns to the bench after a three-year absence as he was the head coach of the team from 2000-12. In his 12 seasons, Beers compiled a record of 141-208 and his 141 wins are the most in program history.
Beers is the Director of Athletics at Lancaster Bible College and has overseen the transformation of athletics at the college. Since 2000, the Chargers have transitioned from an NCCAA-only school to a competitive NCAA Division III program. For the 2015-16 academic year, the department has 12 full-time employees and a full-time trainer from Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster.
Beers is a 1991 graduate of Maranatha Baptist University and earned his Masters Degree from United Stats Sports Academy. He and his wife Kristina, along with their three sons, Luke, Isaac and Seth, reside in Lancaster.
