The 2012 women's volleyball season is Long's third as the assistant coach. She and Coach Bewley have teamed up to bring the women's volleyball program to new heights as they have won the NCCAA East Region title and been to the NEAC playoffs in the first two seasons they have been together.
In January of 2012, Long also took over as Men's Volleyball Head Coach. She guided the Chargers to a 6-17 record as they played one of the most challenging schedules the program has ever played. She will look for more improvement this season as men's volleyball becomes a NEAC-sponsored sport.
Long works at the Jewish Community Center in Lancaster and teaches pre-school. She and her husband, Zack, reside in Lancaster.
