Previous Seasons
2024: Madeline Reed played in all 36 games for the Chargers in 2024 and started all but one, leading the offense as a distributor at setter. Her 615 assists this season topped last year as the 11th-most assists in a season in program history and made her the sixth Charger ever to record a 600-assist season and the first player to do it this decade as Allison Shuey last did it in 2018. She had a season-high 31 assists against Messiah on September 5 and had at least 20 assists in 17 matches. Reed also finished third on the team with 260 total digs and reached double-digit digs eight times, adding 25 kills and 34 service aces on offense as well. She recorded her 1,000th career assist on October 26 in a win over Keystone, finishing the season at sixth all-time in assists for the Chargers with 1,201 dimes. Madeline earned United East All-Conference honors for the second straight season, being named to the 3rd Team.

2023: Reed played in 27 matches as a freshman, starting 14 times and playing in 101 sets. She stepped up late in the season as the number-one setter, finishing with 586 assists on the year, the 11th-most assists by a Charger in a single season. She had nine games with 30+ assists and recorded a season-high 39 assists twice in wins over Moravian (Sep. 29) and Wilkes (Nov. 1). Reed also had 143 digs and 22 blocks on the season, adding 23 kills and 13 service aces. Madeline earned a selection to the United East All-Conference 2nd Team for the Volt Division, the first freshman to be named to an All-Conference team since Faith Helman in 2019.
