Mahwah, NJ- The 1-0 loss to Ramapo College verifies the Chargers improvement from the 2007 season. Last season's matchup between the same teams ended much different, the scoreboard read: Ramapo 12 Lancaster 0.

The Chargers were outshot 32-1 for the game but combined defensive strategy and good goal keeping allowing only the single score. Junior Kirsten Shoemaker (Cochranville, PA) played stellar in the goal notching 14 saves on the day.

Roadrunner's Shana Egan found the back of the net at the 18:02 mark for the game's only score. The loss evens the Chargers record at 9-9 while the Roadrunner improve to 6-8-2 overall.

Lancaster returns to action at home Friday against Gallaudet University at 4:00pm. Prior to the start of the game the Chargers will honor their seniors.
