Seahawks Blank Chargers

With two weeks left in their season, the Lancaster Bible College women's tennis team wants to make sure they end on a positive note. Tuesday's match against St. Mary's College of Maryland provided their first chance to get their second win of the season. It didn't go as planned.

The Seahawks swept all three doubles matches and didn't stop there as they swept the singles matches as well. The 9-0 defeat drops the Chargers' record to 1-11.

"For some reason we don't come out of the gate very well and in a blink of an eye we are down 3-0," Charger Head Coach Zach Freeman said. "Roxy and Becky battled back today to make their match come down to the wire, but we need everyone to do that."

The Chargers return to action October 23, when they travel to face Kean University in New Jersey at 3:00 p.m.
