Sitting at 4-9 after a loss to Mount Aloysius on September 22, the Lancaster Bible College women's volleyball team knew they were better than what their record indicated. After Thursday night's win at Penn State-Brandywine, the Chargers are back at .500 with a record of 11-11.
LBC swept PSU-Brandywine 3-0 and won by game scores of 25-18, 25-17, 25-19 for their seventh victory in nine matches.
The key to the Chargers' resurgence has been their play as team which was evident again on Thursday night.
"It was a well-rounded match," Charger Head Coach Lauren Mable said. "We stayed focused and good things happened."
The Chargers will look to extend their three-game winning streak on Satuday when they travel to Stevenson, Maryland to take on the Mustangs at 10:00 a.m. They will play New Jersey City at noon as well.
