After taking their lumps the first couple of weeks of the season, the Lancaster Bible College men's basketball team finally got to dish out some of their own. The Chargers dominated Penn State-Brandywine in every facet of the game and rolled to a 92-53 victory in Media, Pa. Tuesday night.
Carl Edwards had a season-high 20 points to pace the Chargers (2-4).
Madison Warfel added 15 points, while
Kevin Keltner had 10 points. Sophomore
Erich Graybill chipped in with 12 points.
Eric Nulf led the Chargers with 11 rebounds.
LBC stormed out of the gate, shooting 63 percent in the first half, and led 57-16 at halftime.
"We did everything right in the first half," Charger Head Coach
Pete Beers said. "We dominated on the inside and controlled the play."
The Chargers held a 47-30 advantages on the boards.
"We realized that we can execute on the offensive end and our 'bigs' played very well tonight," Beers said. "We were ready to play tonight, and I'm happy we played well."
LBC is back in action on Thursday when they take on rival Baptist Bible in Clarks Summit, Pa. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
