Lancaster, PA- It was tough to find anything going in the Chargers favor Saturday afternoon. Rain and field conditions pushed the game time back nearly an hour, and sore arms added to an already depleted bullpen.
Ben Markey (Dallastown, PA) registered the loss in the Chargers 15-2 defeat in the first game. The second game was pitching by committee for Lancaster in the 17-0 rout with Tyrell Fuller (Wellsboro, PA) getting his first loss of the year.
Josh Chamberlain (Friendship, ME) was the standout for the Chargers with two hits in two at bats and five assists in game one.
Lancaster is at home again on Thursday at 2:00 PM for a double header with regional opponent Valley Forge Christian College.
