The Lancaster Bible College women's volleyball team won for the third time in four matches, defeating Penn State Brandywine, 3-0. The Chargers won, 25-17, 25-14, 25-18.
Using a different line-up,
Brittney Becker set during the second and third sets and wound up with 21 assists to go along with her seven digs.
Peggy Compton once again led the Chargers in kills with 14. LBC's
Lauren Heliger had a season-high 17 digs.
"Having Brittney set was a good change," LBC Head Coach
Lauren Bewley said. "Her quickness really helped us out tonight. Perhaps we will try it again."
The Chargers (6-8) will have the weekend and Monday off before playing six matches in five days. They will travel to Baptist Bible College on Tuesday to take on Keystone College and the host Defenders.
"We have a big week next week," Bewley said. "We are going to use the weekend to rest, because we have to play very good volleyball next week."
The Chargers will take on Catholic on Thursday and host Stevenson, New Jersey City and Bryn Mawr on Saturday at Horst Athletic Center.
