For the second straight day, the Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team played a NEAC opponent. And for the second straight day, the Chargers won, 5-0.
Ally Brown and
Whitney Heise each scored twice as LBC scored four first half goals en route to their second straight shutout. Freshman
Monica Horning scored for the second straight game as well for LBC.
Goalkeeper
Emily Lloyd made three saves for her second shutout of the season. LBC out shot Cazenovia, 17-3 and held a 8-1 advantage in corner kicks.
The Chargers will host their first game of the season on Tuesday when they host NEAC opponent Penn St. Berks at 4:00 p.m.
Notes:
-LBC scored five goals in a game four times last season.
-The Chargers did not score their 13th goal until the 7th game of the season last year and have done it in four this year.
