Chargers Flip to 7th Straight Victory

Box Score The Lancaster Bible women's soccer team is doing it again. After winning 18 straight games last season, the Chargers pushed 2012's streak to seven on Friday with a 7-0 victory over Wilson in Lancaster, Pa.

Whitney Heise had three goals and two assists to lead the Chargers, while Evelyn Stauffer added a goal and an assist. Amanda Bracelin, Monica Horning and Shannon McNally also scored for LBC who moved to 9-3 overall and 6-1 in NEAC play with the victory.

The Chargers outshot Wilson 27-0 and held a 13-0 edge in corner kicks.

LBC will be looking for the same effort on Saturday when they host Penn St. Harrisburg at 1 p.m. as part of LBC's Homecoming festivities. The Nittany Lions are 5-0 thus far in NEAC play and the game will go a long way in determining playoff seeds for next month's NEAC Playoffs.

"We are looking forward to the game," Chargers' Head Coach Ken Craul said. "They are a quality opponent and we will need to play better tomorrow than we did today."

The Chargers defeated Penn St. Harrisburg, 3-1 last season in Middletown, Pa.
