The Lancaster Bible College baseball team began its spring break trip with a doubleheader loss to Toccoa Falls on Monday. The Chargers dropped game one, 7-4 and game two, 16-2.

Peter Shue hit his first collegiate home run in game one, while
Matthew Day recorded his first collegiate hit in game one, with an RBI single that scored Tim Landis, Jr. LBC (0-5) trailed just 5-4 heading into the sixth inning, but costly errors hurt them in the sixth as the Eagles tacked on two insurance runs.
The Eagles (12-7-1), who have won 10 of their last 11 games and are the reigning NCCAA Division II Champions, woke up in game two and hammered the Chargers who are currently playing with just a 12-man roster due to injuries.
LBC will look to crack the win column for the first time on Wednesday when they face Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Ga. Game one of the doubleheader begins at 1 p.m.
