The Lancaster Bible College women's tennis team lost to Bryn Athyn on Tuesday, 5-4. The loss is the fifth straight for the Chargers who drop to 2-8 this spring and 2-12 for the 2011-12 season.

Carmin Nachtigal and
Kacie Scott earned singles victories for the Chargers, while the doubles team of
Kacie Scott and Nachtigal won at number two doubles, 8-0.
LBC's number one doubles team of
Kayla Scott and Bri Funk lost a hard-fought match, 9-7.
Kacie Scott dropped the first set of her number four singles match, but roared back to take set two, 6-2 and completed the comeback with a 6-3 third set win. Kacie's sister, Kayla won the first set of her number two singles match, 6-3, but dropped the second set, 7-5. Scott rebounded however and won a third set super-tiebreaker, 10-3.
Kayla Scott will be the lone representative in this weekend's NEAC Tennis Championships held in Clarks Summit, Pa. She will be the number three seed in the flight two singles tournament.
