Box Score The Lancaster Bible women's soccer team advanced to the NCCAA East Region Final for the fourth consecutive season on Wednesday as they defeated Valley Forge Christian, 7-0 in the East Region Semifinal at Charger Field.

Playing the Patriots for the second time in 48 hours, the Chargers stormed out of the gate, scoring three times in the first 8:45 of the game. Junior
Monica Horning and freshman
Alyssa Wesner each scored twice for the Chargers, while
Kirsten Webster,
Bethany Stein and
Brooke Cullum also scored.

The Chargers, for the second straight meeting, did not allow the Patriots to record a shot as LBC outshot Valley Forge Christian, 29-0. LBC also held a 9-0 edge in corner kicks as they await the winner of the other East Region Semifinal which features Baptist Bible at Cairn.

LBC will host the East Region Final for the third straight season on Saturday at 11 a.m. The Chargers will wrap-up their regular season on Sunday when they host a make-up contest with SUNY Cobleskill. LBC has clinched the third seed in the NEAC playoffs and will host a quarterfinal match on Saturday, November 2 against an opponent to be determined.
