The Lancaster Bible women's tennis team made its first and only trip to New York this season on Saturday as they lost to Cazenovia, 6-3. Playing with just five players, LBC was forced to forfeit number three doubles and number six singles, giving the Wildcats two points.
The LBC doubles teams that did play both won as
Carmin Nachtigal and
Kayla Nachtigal won their number one doubles match, 8-4 and the number two doubles team of
Kacie Scott and
Tiffany Wolf also won, 8-4.
Singles was a different story however as
Kayla Nachtigal was the only Chargers' player to earn a point as she won her number two singles match, 8-6.
The Chargers (1-8, 0-5 NEAC) return to action on Monday when they head to the Nation's Capital to take on Trinity [D.C.] at 4 p.m.
