Box Score 2 The Lancaster Bible softball team's losing streak reached five games on Saturday as the Chargers were swept by Wilson at Garrett Field in Willow Street, Pa. The Phoenix took game one, 4-2 and won game two, 7-1 as they won the season series over the Chargers, 3-1.
The Chargers' hitting woes continued as they managed just five hits over the two games.

Kathryn Ritter recorded the Lancaster Bible hits in game one, while sophomore
Richelle Kane scored both Chargers runs.
Kellie Wright's RBI groundout cut the Lancaster Bible deficit to 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning, but the Chargers managed just one hit in the final three innings and couldn't get any closer.

Kelsey Collins pitched well in the loss as she scattered 10 hits and allowed just one earned run while strking out seven.
Collins struck out eight more in game two, but Wilson scored four times in the seventh inning to pad its lead and earn the sweep. Wilson's game two starter, Taylor Crouse allowed just two hits and one run as she struck out seven.
Anna Harris and
Nicole Valinteno had the two Lancaster Bible hits in game two as the Chargers fell to 5-17 overall and 4-8 in NEAC play.
Lancaster Bible is right back in action on Monday when they head to Abington, Pa. to face Penn St. Abington for a doubleheader. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
