The Lancaster Bible women's tennis team opened North Eastern Athletic Conference play on Tuesday and lost to Penn St. Berks, 7-2 at Linden Hall School in Lititz, Pa.

Stephanie Blest earned the lone singles win for the Chargers as she defeated Ivana Davis, 6-0, 6-0 at number six singles. Blest and her number three doubles partner
Kayla Weaser earned the other Lancaster Bible point as they defeated Erin Ginther and Davis, 8-1.
Julia Dariychuk lost a tough match at number three singles as she won the first set, 6-2, but the lost second set by the same score. In the third set, which was a 10-game super tie-breaker, Dariychuk lost, 14-12.
The Chargers (2-3, 0-1 NEAC) return to the court on Friday when they face Keuka at 3 p.m. in Keuka Park, N.Y.
