The Lancaster Bible baseball team will be making its fifth trip to the NCCAA World Series this week as the team will head to Mason, Ohio later this afternoon. Unlike past years however, this year's World Series features a mixture of both NCCAA Division I schools and NCCAA Division II programs. In NCCAA Division I, schools can offer scholarships to student-athletes and many schools are NCAA Division II programs or NAIA programs.
Three of the four schools in Lancaster Bible's pool are NCAA Division II schools and not only offer athletic scholarships, but have played 50 or more games this season. It is an incredible chance for the Lancaster Bible baseball team to not only put themselves on the map, but bring the school as a whole into a national light.
Below is a quick look at each of the four teams the Chargers will be playing this week in Pool B. The top two teams from each pool will make the Semifinal Round on Friday night with the winners playing in the National Championship Game on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. The link to the bracket is
