The Lancaster Bible women's volleyball team wrapped up North Eastern Athletic Conference play this weekend as the Chargers took part in their final NEAC Weekend in Williamsport, Pa. at Penn College. The Chargers defeated the host Wildcats on Saturday morning, but dropped a pair of five-setters to Gallaudet (Friday night) and Penn St. Berks (Saturday afternoon). Lancaster Bible is now 12-12 overall and finishes NEAC play with a 7-5 record.

9-25, 28-26, 25-9, 29-31, 15-12By the Numbers: After winning the first set, the Chargers had to battle back to win the fourth set to extend the match and that's just what they did as they won, 31-29...The fifth set went back-and-forth, but the Bison held on for a 15-12 fifth-set victory...
Alyssa Bowen led the Chargers with 13 kills, while
Hannah Gipe had 11...
Myranda Kemrer had a team-high 21 digs, while senior
Grace Scheuerman had 17 digs...Hannah Metzler added 32 assists, while Bowen had a team-high five blocks.
Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible fell to 0-7 all-time against Gallaudet...Gallaudet's Darriyan Thomas had 25 kills for the Bison, the most any one player has had against the Chargers this season.

Lauren Grimm had six kills for the Chargers, while

Jenny Lenko and Gipe each had two aces.

18-25, 25-21, 23-25, 25-10, 15-6By the Numbers: Penn St. Berks overcame a 2-1 deficit and defeated the Chargers in five sets...Bowen, Gipe and Kemrer each had nine kills, while Grimm and Scheuerman tied for the team lead with 16 digs...Derr had 35 assists and added four kills...
