The Lancaster Bible baseball team lost its second straight game to New Paltz as the Hawks smashed 14 hits and scored in every inning from the fourth to the eighth and won, 11-2 in Port Charlotte, Florida. The loss drops the Chargers to 0-4 this season, while New Paltz improved to 3-7.

Hunter Gray continued his strong play as he was 2-for-4 with two runs scored for Lancaster Bible.
Erich Carroll finished the day 1-for-4, but drove in both runs for the Chargers, while
Ian Ebersole was 1-for-3.Â

Zack Leonard collected his first collegiate hit on Thursday as he was 1-for-1, while
Jimmy Eagan was 1-for-4 and now has four hits in four games this season.Â
Braden Elliott made his first collegiate start on Thursday and pitched well over five innings as he gave up three runs and seven hits, while striking out three and walking just one.

The Chargers return to the diamond on Friday when they face Wooster at 2 p.m. Lancaster Bible lost to Wooster, 12-2 on Monday.Â
