Lancaster Bible Splits Day 2 of NEAC Weekend

The Lancaster Bible women's volleyball team capped its second straight weekend of North Eastern Athletic Conference play with a split of two matches as the Chargers were swept by SUNY Polytechnic, 3-0, but rebounded to knock off SUNY Cobleskill, 3-0. The 1-1 day moves Lancaster Bible's overall record to 6-8 and the Chargers are now 3-3 in conference play.

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible managed just 18 kills over the three sets, while SUNY Polytechnic had 44...Junior Emily Olson had half of Lancaster Bible's 18 kills, while Hannah Gipe and Alyssa Bowen had three kills each...Senior Grace Scheuerman had a team-high 16 digs and Jensen Attoe added 11 digs.

Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible is now 3-3 all-time against SUNY Polytechnic...The Wildcats are 11-2 overall this season and sit atop the NEAC standings with a 5-0 mark.

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible won a very competitive match by closing out both the first and second set, something they have struggled to at times this season...The Chargers hammered 14 kills in the second set and were led once again by Emily Olson who had 10 kills over the three sets...Sophomore Myranda Kemrer added eight kills and a team-high 16 digs...Bowen and Gipe had six kills apiece, while senior Hannah Derr had 24 assists, nine digs and two aces...Lauren Grimm also had two aces and Natalie Kennedy added three digs.

Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible remains perfect all-time against SUNY Cobleskill as the Chargers are now 5-0 against the Fighting Tigers...With 24 more assists, Derr now has 2,929 during her storied four-year career.

Up Next: The Chargers return home for a Tuesday night match against Valley Forge that is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m...The match is a rematch of last season's NCCAA East Region Final which the Chargers won, 3-0.
