The Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team will find itself in familiar territory on Saturday as the Chargers play SUNY Polytechnic in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Semifinals. This will be fifth time in six seasons the Chargers have reached the NEAC Semifinals, but Lancaster Bible will look reverse a trend that has seen them fall short of the NEAC Final every season since 2012 when the Chargers won the NEACÂ Championship. The Chargers lost in the NEAC Semifinals in 2013 and 2015 and were upset in the NEAC Quarterfinals in 2014.Â
This year's team has felt different than its predecessors all season long and the Chargers will face a SUNY Polytechnic team that they beat, 7-1 in Lancaster on Sept. 23. Despite the lopsided victory, the Chargers know the postseason is different and they will have to contend with a team that is just a eager to earn a spot in the NEAC Final.
