The Lancaster Bible men's tennis team lost its fourth straight match on Wednesday as the Chargers fell to Summit, 9-0 in Clarks Summit, Pa. The Chargers are now 0-4 this season, while the Defenders improved to 2-2.
Summit swept all three doubles matches with the best match coming at number one doubles as the Chargers' top team of
Daniel Fabrick and Tedd Holbook lost to Spencer Fountain and Benjamin Adam, 8-4.
In singles action, Summit won the top three matches going away, while Even Holbrook put up a good fight at number four singles, but ultimately fell, 6-2, 6-3 to Noah Moore. Senior
Nathan Grimley also played well at number six singles, but wound up losing to Wesley Pincince, 6-2, 7-5.Â
Lancaster Bible is now 2-6 all-time against Summit (formerly Baptist Bible).
The Chargers are back in action on Monday as they host Hood at 3:30 p.m. The match will be played at Linden Hall School in Lititz, Pa.
