The Lancaster Bible women's tennis team dropped its second straight match on Tuesday as the Chargers lost to Eastern, 9-0 at Linden Hall School in Lititz, Pa. The Chargers also lost, 9-0 last Friday to North Eastern Athletic Conference opponent Penn St. Abington. The Chargers are now 2-6 overall and 1-2 in conference play. Penn St. Abington 9, Lancaster Bible 0After defeating St. Elizabeth the previous Saturday for its first NEAC victory, Lancaster Bible dropped a 9-0 decision to one of the conference's best teams. The Chargers were swept away in doubles action, with number one doubles,
Morgan Adams and
Kayla Weaser losing an 8-3 decision.Â
Hannah Zehall played the best singles match for the Chargers at number four, but she suffered her first singles defeat of the season as she lost to Abington's Honestee Sphabmixay, 6-1, 7-5. Adams fell 6-1, 6-2 in her number one singles match.
Eastern 9, Lancaster Bible 0Eastern improved to 7-1 this season as they opened play with two dominating doubles wins and a forfeit and then cruised to five singles victories. Zehall and number two doubles partner

Lancaster Bible returns to NEAC play on Wednesday as the Chargers host Penn St. Berks at Linden Hall School in Lititz, Pa. The match is set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
