The Lancaster Bible College men's basketball team played a nationally-ranked opponent for the second time this season and like the first go-round, the Chargers lost, this time to 14th-ranked Susquehanna, 87-66 in Selinsgrove, Pa. The loss drops the Chargers to 2-7, while the River Hawks have now won 11 straight games and improved to 11-1.
How it Happened: Lancaster Bible started slowly for the second time in three nights as the Chargers trailed, 8-0 just 2:51 into the contest. Sophomore

Herbie Brown dunk.
Susquehanna kept its lead and extended it back to nine over the final minutes of the half, but another 3-pointer from
Austin Brown slashed Susquehanna's lead to six, 40-34, at halftime.
Unlike Tuesday at Juniata where the Chargers started the second half slow as well, Lancaster Bible came out firing on Thursday and used a 6-2 run to cut its deficit to two, 42-40. It would be as close as the Chargers would get however as the River Hawks showed why they are nationally ranked and used a 19-1 run over the next 5:07 to take a 61-41 lead with 13:23 remaining.Â
Lancaster Bible cut the deficit to 15 at one point later in the half, but Susquehanna pulled away again and led by as many as 26, before winning by 21.Â
