The Lancaster Bible College women's volleyball team lost its second straight match on Thursday as the Chargers fell to Lycoming, 3-0 in Williamsport, Pa. The Chargers are now 10-12 this season, while the Warriors improved to 12-12 after the 25-23, 25-17, 25-19 victory.

1st Set Highlights:
-Lancaster Bible took a 14-11 lead after a kill from freshman Aleah Heyworth, but Lycoming won the next four points to grab a one-point advantage
-The Chargers eventually took a 19-18 lead, but five straight points by the Warriors gave them a 23-19 lead, and though the Chargers cut the deficit to one on two different occasions, Lycoming pulled out the set, 25-23

2nd Set Highlights:
-Lycoming opened the set with a 13-5 run and never looked back, winning the set, 25-17
-The Warriors had 15 kills against just three errors in the set

3rd Set Highlights:
-Lycoming took an early 7-2 lead, but the Chargers won eight of the next nine points and grabbed a 10-8 lead
-Lancaster Bible led 15-11 later in the set, but Lycoming slowly chipped away at its deficit and took a 19-18 lead after an error by the Chargers
-After Lancaster Bible tied the set at 19-19, Lycoming won the final six points of the match and took the set, 25-19

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible had 24 kills, while the Warriors had 45...The Chargers had six blocks, while Lycoming had two and Lancaster Bible added eight more aces on Thursday night...Sophomore Ashtyn Bouslog, junior Hannah Gipe and freshman Bekah Roberts each had five kills to lead Lancaster Bible...Roberts also had a team-high five blocks, while junior Hannah Thompson paced the Chargers with nine digs...Junior Erin Harkey had a team-high five aces.

Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible is now 1-9 all-time against Lycoming...The Chargers are 5-5 away from Horst Athletic Center this season...Harkey has 56 aces this season, the second-most in the North Eastern Athletic Conference...Lancaster Bible has 176 team aces, the fourth-most in the conference.
