The Lancaster Bible College women's soccer team will host a North Eastern Athletic Conference Quarterfinal game for the fourth straight season on Tuesday, as the Chargers welcome Bryn Athyn to Charger Field. Lancaster Bible is 2-1 in its previous three NEAC Quarterfinal games and used last year's victory over Cazenovia to jumpstart a run to the NEAC Final.

The NEAC is using a new playoff format this season where eight of the 14 teams in the conference qualified for the playoffs, four from each division. The Chargers are the second seed in the NEAC South Division, while the Lions are the third seed. Top-seeded Penn St. Berks will host fourth seed Penn St. Abington in the other NEAC South Division Quarterfinal. Following the quarterfinal round, the remaining teams will be re-seeded for the NEAC Final Four on November 4-5 held at the highest seed remaining.

Bryn Athyn: The Lions will be making their first-ever playoff appearance on Tuesday, as Bryn Athyn clinched its playoff berth by going 4-2 in the NEAC South Division.

Lancaster Bible: The Chargers are making their seventh straight appearance in the NEAC Playoffs and have made the postseason in each year they've been a part of the NEAC…The Chargers defeated Bryn Athyn 3-0 on Oct. 14 and thus earned the right to host the NEAC Quarterfinal match, even though they finished 4-2 as well in the NEAC South Division.
