-Lancaster Bible took its first and only lead of the opening 20 minutes with 2:43 remaining on a layup by senior Bill Livezey, but the Golden Wolves quickly retook the lead and held a 32-27 advantage at halftime

Second Half Highlights:
-After trailing in the opening minutes of the second half, the Chargers tied the game at 35-35 on a fastbreak layup from Brown

-The Chargers continued to fight however and eventually cut their deficit to just six, 68-62 with 1:10 to play, but couldn't hit any of their late 3-pointer attempts and the Golden Wolves knocked down free throws in the final minute to win by 10

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible shot just 22-of-63 (34.9 percent) from the field, while Alvernia shot 21-of-52 (40.4 percent)...The Chargers were an abysmal 6-of-27 from beyond the arc and just 12-of-21 from the free throw line...Herbie Brown led the Chargers with 15 points, while Beers matched his total from Wednesday night with 12 more points...Livezey and Christo Majok each had 11 points for Lancaster Bible and Austin Brown added nine points...Calil Moultrie had a game-high 26 points for Alvernia.

The Coach Says: "Tonight was pretty disappointing," Lancaster Bible Head Coach Zach Filzen said. "We didn't come out ready to go from the jump and didn't have a lot of energy. Offensively, we are really struggling to get any flow or rhythm and are holding onto the basketball too much. We need to do a better job executing our offensive concepts and plan. A lot of the same issues we had Wednesday night were here tonight and defensively, we really struggled to guard their dribble penetration. Overall, there is a lot to clean up and improve upon. It's very early in the season, so we just need to learn and grow and we know it's going to be a process."

Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible is now 0-2 all-time against Alvernia...The only other meeting between these teams came during the 1980-81 season, when the Chargers lost 100-75...All eight of Luke Beers' made shots this season are from 3-point range...He is 0-for-2 from inside the arc and 8-of-13 outside the arc...Through two games, four Lancaster Bible players are averaging double figures, with Majok leading the way at 17 points per game.

Up Next: Lancaster Bible will face Bethany (W. Va.) in the consolation game of the tournament on Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m...Bethany lost to host Franklin & Marshall, 72-70 following Lancaster Bible's game on Friday night.
