The Chargers improved to 2-1 this season, while the Bison dropped to 0-3.

1st Half Highlights:

-Junior Christo Majok had seven of the 13 points during the scoring run, capped by a 3-pointer
-Freshman Britton Beachy converted a three-point play with a little over six minutes to play in the half to restore the Chargers' 10-point lead and two late free throws from Livezey later in the half gave Lancaster Bible a 42-30 halftime advantage

2nd Half Highlights:
-The Chargers scored nine of the first 11 points of the second half to take a commanding 51-32 advantage with 17:35 to play
-Lancaster Bible continued to lead by double digits for much of the second half, but a Liam Davis bucket for Bethany trimmed the Chargers' lead to 71-63 with 4:12 remaining
-Though the lead shrunk to seven at 72-65 less than a minute later, Lancaster Bible restored its double figure lead a minute later and converted three of four free throws in the final minute to win by 13

The Coach Says: "I was very, very pleased with our performance tonight," Lancaster Bible Head Coach Zach Filzen said. "The way we responded today after last night's loss says a lot about our guys and the culture we are developing here. Alex Whitt deserves a lot of credit for leading us today and helping us bounce back better this year than we did last season after losing the first game of this tournament."

On the team's defense: "We were better defensively today and forced Bethany into a lot of tough shots," Filzen said. "Austin Brown and Quentin Davis did tremendous on Bethany's big guy and played well in the post. I know Austin isn't thrilled with his offensive play right now, but he is bringing it on the defensive end and he was big for us today."

On the team's offense: "The ball is moving well, especially in the half-court which is important for our team," Filzen said. "There is a lot to clean up, but today was a really good win and it's nice to head into a little break here with a win and we will start getting ready for the start of North Eastern Athletic Conference play following Thanksgiving."
