The Lancaster Bible College women's tennis team returned to the court on Wednesday after having its four-match winning streak broken on Monday at Penn St. Harrisburg. Wednesday proved to be a much different story as the Chargers controlled the match over St. Elizabeth from the opening serve to the final winner as Lancaster Bible crushed the Eagles, 9-0 in Morristown, N.J. The victory propels the Chargers to 5-3 overall and a perfect 3-0 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play, while the Eagles fell to 0-5 overall and 0-3 in conference action.

Rachel Snyder, were all victorious. Strunk and Thelemaque are now 7-1 in doubles play this season, the best mark on the team. 
Singles wasn't much different as the Chargers eased to victories in all six flights. Strunk won, 6-0, 6-1 over Kassandra Ortiz in flight one, while Thelemaque won, 6-2, 6-0 at number two. Smith won her flight three match, 6-1, 6-0 and Weaser won, 6-0, 6-0 at number four singles. Blest and sophomore 
Sarah Wetzel each won, 6-0, 6-0 as the Chargers eclipsed their win total from a season ago.
Lancaster Bible is now 6-0 all-time against St. Elizabeth.
The Chargers are back in action on Friday when they host Bryn Athyn at 1 p.m. The match will be held at Hempfield Rec Center in Landisville, Pa.Â
