The Lancaster Bible College women's volleyball team saw its two-match winning streak come to an end on Tuesday night as the Chargers were swept, 3-0 by Penn St. Berks in Reading, Pa. The loss drops the Chargers to 2-4 overall this season and 1-1 in North Eastern Athletic Conference play, while the Nittany Lions improved to 2-6 overall and 1-0 in conference action. The Nittany Lions defeated the Chargers, 25-13, 25-21, 25-18.

By the Numbers: Lancaster Bible had 21 kills, but committed 18 errors, while the Nittany Lions had 37 kills and 14 errors...The Nittany Lions had seven aces, while the Chargers managed just one...Junior Hannah Gipe led the Chargers with eight kills and sophomore Ashtyn Bouslog had five kills and two blocks...Junior Hannah Thompson had 17 digs, while sophomore Allison Shuey had 19 assists...The Nittany Lions were led by Abbie Carr's 10 kills.

Information Hodge Podge: Lancaster Bible is now 7-15 all-time against Penn St. Berks...The Chargers have lost four straight to the Nittany Lions and haven't defeated Penn St. Berks since Sept. 5, 2015...Lancaster Bible is now 2-3 away from Horst Athletic Center this season.
